Tisno, small croatian village, is divided between an island and mainland, connected by a 20m bridge.
Tisno was first mentioned by the name 'Kraj In Tisno' in 1474. The place owes its name to the Croatian word for 'strait' (tisno) where a narrow sea-flow separates the mainland from the island of Murter.
The historic, old part of Tisno is located on the Murter island, whereas the new area is located on the mainland.
All together, Tisno is an extremely holiday friendly destination. Beautiful sea, delicious dalmatian specalities, beautiful people, ... we are sure you will have the holiday of your life.
For those who need some nautical pleasure, there is a rent a boat service in Tisno.
On the other hand, if your desires are to remain on land, we dispose of wonderful apartment acommmodations for rent, all of which are right by by the sea.
