In the central part of the Adriatic Sea, about 7 Nm to the Southwest of Tisno, there is an amazing group of a 110 almost uninhabited islands and islets named the Kornati archipelago. The beauty and uniqueness of the archipelago moved authorities in 1980 to proclaim that area a national park. The "crowns" (cliffs) on the islands facing the open sea, hidden beaches and wild nature make Kornati a sailing paradise and a perfect adventure in island hopping.
